Elysium Studios, Swintt's in-house studio, has released Buffalo Thunderstorm , a cluster-pays slot set in the Great Plains of North America. The reels are nestled between two carved totem poles, with buffalo roaming the plains in the background.

The base game starts on a 5x5 grid . Cluster wins expand the reels: the first, second, and third wins of the same spin add a row, up to 8x5.

Growing clusters and wildcard buffalo

Once the grid is expanded, the symbol swapping function can be activated randomly, with totems upgrading junior symbols into a senior symbol to create new clusters.

A wild buffalo symbol that contributes to consecutive wins can grow to occupy a 3x3 space. The slot offers a maximum prize of 3,710x.

Free spins with modifiers

Landing three scatters anywhere triggers 10 free spins on a fully expanded 8x5 grid. At the start of each spin, a random modifier is chosen : guaranteed swaps, 2x2 or 3x3 wild buffaloes, and multipliers up to 25x.

Three more scatters during the feature award 10 additional spins. There's also a boosted bet mode that slightly increases the stake to boost the chance of triggering free spins by 30%.

“Buffalo Thunderstorm is a great addition to Elysium Studios’ lineup, with an expanding cluster mechanic that gives each win sequence a clear sense of progression.”—Anthony Dalla-Giacoma, CCO of Swintt

With an ever-growing grid, expanding wild buffaloes, and varied free spin modifiers, Buffalo Thunderstorm offers plenty of visual flair and feature variety.
